ASIC ALLIANCE CORPORATION ACQUIRES OTTAWA-BASED DVLOGIX CORPORATION
--Full-Service Design and Verification Consultancy Establishes Presence in Canada--
Woburn, Mass., - March 13, 2000 - ASIC Alliance Corporation, a full-service provider of ASIC and FPGA design and verification services, today announced its acquisition of DVLOGIX Corporation of Kanata, Ontario. DVLOGIX provides ASIC design and verification services, with a focus on verification of large systems. The acquisition of DVLOGIX extends ASIC Alliances' presence into the technology-rich Ottawa area, and further demonstrates ASIC Alliance's commitment to becoming the leading global provider of Time-to-Revenue Design Engineering SolutionsSM for organizations that develop complex multimedia, telecommunications, networking and computer products. The acquisition terms were not disclosed.
DVLOGIX was founded in 1999 by a group of top talents in the field of design engineering. DVLOGIX customers include Nortel Networks Corporation.
Prior to the acquisition, DVLOGIX and ASIC Alliance formed a strategic partnership where ASIC Alliance acted as the sales and marketing agent for all DVLOGIX's design services contracts.
