ZAIQ TECHNOLOGIES' LOGO DESIGN WINS NATIONAL AWARD
Woburn, Mass. - May 9, 2001 - Zaiq Technologies, Inc., the fastest-growing product development outsourcer for communications infrastructure companies, today announced that the Company and its visual design firm, Monderer Design have received special recognition from American Corporate Identity's 17th annual competition. American Corporate Identity recognized Monderer Design and Zaiq for the innovative design of the Zaiq logo, unveiled in January 2001.

The American Corporate Identity competition results in the publication of a book of graphic design pieces, edited by David E. Carter, author and lecturer on the subject of logos and corporate graphics. Nearly 4,000 entries were submitted in seven categories for this year's competition. The competition has become a highly regarded showcase of the best work in American identity graphics. Winners in previous competitions have included a wide range of work from large and small companies -- including work for such giants as AT&T and FedEx to small businesses that are literally "cottage" operations.
