Recognized Leader in Electronic Product Design Software and Services Receives New England 'Fast 50' Award From Deloitte & Touche
Woburn, Mass. - October 18, 2001 - Zaiq Technologies, Inc., a leading electronic product design software and services provider, today announced that the Company has been ranked 13th on the "New England Technology Fast 50" for 2001, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area. Zaiq was named to the rankings in the Company's first year of eligibility for the award, based on five-year revenue growth (1996-2000). The program is presented by Deloitte & Touche, one of the nation's leading professional services firms.

Zaiq Technologies has established itself as a leading electronic product design software and services provider, with revenues up 3,621 percent from 1996 to 2000, as calculated by the Fast 50 program. Recently, Zaiq announced significant partnership agreements with several industry leaders, including ARM, Xilinx, Altera and Synopsys.

To qualify for the 2001 New England Technology Fast 50, a company had to be headquartered in the region and have revenues of at least $50,000 beginning in 1996. Fast 50 companies can be either private or publicly held. They must produce technology, manufacture a technology product, be technologically intensive, use technology in problem solving, or devote a high percentage of effort to the research and development of technology.
