Aptix and Zaiq have signed a reseller agreement allowing Aptix to offer Zaiq's PREP environment and Verification Components (VCs) with the Aptix pre-silicon prototype. Customers will be able to apply ZAIQ validation IP to an FPGA-based design prototype, and since validation is done at the transaction level, speed-up their validation process.
Zaiq has spent several years developing PREP and SVCs, which are based on the concept of transaction based verification. At the same time, Aptix has developed, manufactured, and markets software and hardware verification solutions that enable system and SoC designers to produce pre-silicon prototypes (PSP's) of their products using multiple FPGA devices.
The product combination will permit Aptix customers to validate their FPGA-based pre-silicon prototypes based on Aptix products at the transaction level using ZAIQ's verification platform and verification intellectual property (IP).
